Cooper, Sawyer, Dodge..

The boys were so excited to wear their spiffy new clothes on their first day of school!! Cooper was pretty proud of his matching outfit (notice the backpack).. and i think Sawyer was just excited that we were taking his picture.. the little ham =] And of course Dodge wanted to be part of the action.. can't say I blame him. I love my little Montana men!!

Madeline Grace..

Madeline is my first and only niece.. and the most gorgeous baby girl I have ever seen! Madeline is still not quite sure what she thinks about her "Aunt Mandie" (sniff) ..but I'm hopeful that one day she'll let me hold her without sobbing the minute I pick her up. She's shy, and that's okay. I was a shy little girl too =] ..Madeline had fun playing in the sand on this gorgeous sunny day we got! Probably as much fun as I had taking these photos of her =] I'm blessed to call this sweet girl my niece.. I love you miss Madeline!

Ruston Emanuel..

The past couple months here Rusty has really been getting into Spider Man or "Minus" as he says it =D He is always talking about him, crawling on the ground, pretending to scale buildings or throwing webs.. it's pretty adorable. He recently discovered these glasses in Papa and Grammy's toy box. They have become an instant fave.. Whenever he puts them on He Say's "Peta Pocka" or "Peta Minus". He's growing into such a little boy! Love it.

Em J and Liz..

Emily and Lizzy.. Emily and Lizzy are sisters and two of the sweetest most genuine girls I know. Emily and I have been friends since we were two! I'm only 23 and already I can say I've got a lifelong friend! =D

The other night several of us attended a wedding in Burien.. right next to the reception was this gorgeous park. a few of us snuck out early to go exploring and take some pictures. Emily and Lizzy are some of my dearest friends.. maybe after seeing these pictures you can see why I love them so much! Love you girlies!

Sisters..

A few weeks ago my mom, sisters and I (along with my niece and nephew) went to visit our sister Angie and her family in Montana. We got to stay for 5 whole days! We had so much fun playing at the park with all the kiddos, going shopping, cooking, eating, Easter egg hunting and of course our fave, talking.. a lot of it! It was a total blast and I can't wait till next years annual "All Girls Trip"! Us sisters went for a little walk one day.. when I saw this empty lot I insisted they let me take their picture! Thanks girls! I heart chyoou!!

This was my first real time to shoot full on manual (well, 99% manual.. I still used auto focus). All I can say is, manual is genius.. I was so happy with the results (minus the occasional glare from her glasses. bummer.. I need to learn how to fix that in photoshop!).
